South Africa advanced to the last eight after claiming a 1-0 victory over hosts Egypt at the Cairo International Stadium on Saturday through an 85th-minute strike from Thembinkosi Lorch.

Stuart Baxter’s men will now meet the Super Eagles at the same venue on Wednesday as both nations look to book their place in the semi-final of the competition.
