Coach David Notoane has named his 23-man squad to play Lesotho in the Caf Orange CHAN qualifiers for the Ethiopia 2020 championships.

The South African national team will play Lesotho in the first leg on 28 July at the Setsoto Stadium with thr return leg scheduled to kick off on 4 August in Johannesburg.

Notoane has retained most of the players who took part in the recently ended Cosafa Cup tournament that took place in Durban from 26 May to 8 June 2019 where Bafana Bafana won the Plate after beating Malawi 5-4 on penalties.

Amajita captain Khulekani Kubheka replaces Reyaad Pieterse between the sticks, while Richards Bay’s Andile Mbanjwa comes in for Ajax Cape Town’s Darren Johnson.

Meanwhile, Zakele Kewuti of Cape Town City has earned his maiden call-up to the national team setup

Leading the attack for South Africais Zakhele Lepasa and Jemondre Dickens of Orlando Pirates and Baroka respectively.
