Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Lebogang Manyama has been called up to Bafana Bafana for their two 2021 Africa Cup of Nations clashes with Ghana and Sudan.

Manyama, who has already reported for national team duty, comes in to replace injured Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Themba Zwane.

The former Cape Town City captain returns to the Bafana fold for the first time since the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Senegal back in November 2017.

The South African national team assembled for camp on Sunday and have flown out to Accra, where they will have their first training session at Sturrock Park.

The overseas-based contingent of Lebohang Phiri, Bongani Zungu, Lebo Mothiba (all France); Thulani Serero (Abu Dhabi); Percy Tau, Darren Keet (both Belgium); as well as Kamohelo Mokotjo (England) will join up with their teammates in Accra, the capital of Ghana, on Monday night before the long bus drive to Cape Coast.

Bafana will face the Black Stars at the Cale Coast Stadium on Thursday evening at 7pm before taking on Sudan at the Orlando Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm.
