Bafana Bafana have confirmed that Andile Jali and Thabo Matlaba were ruled out of their international friendly against Mozambique on Tuesday.

Jali was recovering from a thigh muscle injury and available to feature against Senegal this past weekend, but he is now ruled out. Orlando Pirates left back Thabo Matlaba will also miss the encounter against Os Mambas.

‘Jali, Matlaba & Coetzee out of Mozambique friendly international match,’ Bafana revealed on their Twitter account.

Bafana Bafana are yet to disclose the extent of Jali and Matlaba’s injuries. Ajax Cape Town defender Rivaldo Coetzee has also been ruled out through injury.

Bafana Bafana against Mozambique kicks off at 19:00.
