Dean Furman and Andile Jali were sidelined in Bafana Bafana’s impressive 6-1 victory over Molemole Academy at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday.

Bafana cruised to a comfortable win over the ABC Motsepe League toppers in a practice match.

Furman and Jali are nursing a bruised rib and thigh muscle strain respectively, but national team doctor Thulani Ngwenya is not worried about the setbacks.

Mamelodi Sundowns left back Tebogo Langerman has also picked up a thigh muscle strain, while SuperSport United goalkeeper Ronwen Williams is being monitored.

Ngwenya expects the players to be back to full fitness ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifier against Senegal on Saturday.

Bafana Bafana against Senegal kicks off at 15:00.
