Bafana Bafana have risen one place up to 67th in the latest edition of the Fifa rankings, which were released on Thursday.

South Arica have also moved up one spot in the African rankings to sit at 13th as there was plenty of movement in and around the continent’s top 10.

Algeria remains the king of Africa while Ivory Coast and Ghana moved up one spot respectively to complete the top three.

At the top of the rankings, Argentina keep hold of their top spot despite being edged by Chile in the Copa America final for the second year in succession. Chile remain in 5th place as the top five remain unchanged, while European champions Portugal moved up to 6th and runners-up France jumped 10 places to 7th.

Wales were the biggest movers in the latest rankings as they jumped 15 spots to 11th.
