The South African Football Association has confirmed that Bafana Bafana’s upcoming clashes with Ghana and Sudan in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying have had a change of date.
The national football team will begin their qualification for the 2021 qualifiers in November, and Safa confirmed on Tuesday that they have been forced into changing the dates of their upcoming clashes with Ghana and Sudan after receiving notice from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
‘Bafana will play the Black Stars of Ghana on Thursday, 14 November 2019 in Accra and welcome Sudan three days later on Sunday, 17 November at Orlando Stadium after CAF changed the initial dates for the Cameroon Afcon 2021 qualifiers,’ Safa said on its official website.

‘Initially South Africa was pencilled in to play the West African country on 15 November and host Sudan on 19 November before the continental controlling body intervened and changed the dates around.
‘This means, Molefi Ntseki’s team will welcome Sudan at Orlando Stadium on Sunday, 17 November,’ the association concluded.
Ntseki will be looking to get the qualification campaign off to a good start as he looks to build on the quarter-final finish at Afcon 2019 just a few months ago.
