The venue for the 2021 MTN8 final has been confirmed, where Mamelodi Sundowns will battle it out with Cape Town City for the first piece of silverware this season.
The top-eight final is now set to be played at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on 30 October.
The Citizens have been confirmed as the home team in the final following the conclusion of the draw conducted by the Premier Soccer League (PSL) at an event held in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Sundowns made their way into the final after claiming a comfortable 4-1 victory over Lamontville Golden Arrows on aggregate in the semi-final.
Meanwhile, City eased their way into the final two after securing a 4-0 aggregate win over Swallows FC in their semi-final fixture.
“This season’s tournament of the MTN 8 has proven to be an exhilarating and an interesting one and we expect the same for the final,” PSL head of marketing brand and sponsorship Nonhlanhla Nkosi said on Thursday.
“When choosing a venue for a cup final like the MTN 8, there are numerous elements that need to be considered. There is a consultative process where was a league consult with both participating clubs as well as with our sponsors.
“The preferred venue was considered by both Cape Town City and Mamelodi Sundowns, as well as MTN. They chose this venue because it is a world-class facility and has hosted numerous events, and also because it is a neutral ground for the teams taking part.”
