Paulo Dybala has revealed he is still not 100% fit after overcoming coronavirus – but is relishing the return of Serie A all the same.
Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey has backed plans for Serie A and the Premier League to resume, saying it is ‘only right’ the sport attempts to restart following the coronavirus pandemic.
Serie A has decided the season will recommence with the four outstanding games in hand on the weekend of 20-21 June, with the Coppa Italia final confirmed for 17 June.
Serie A could lose over €700 million (£628m/$769m) in revenue if plans to restart the league do not come to fruition, according to Italian Football Federation [FIGC] president Gabriele Gravina.
Italy’s minister for sport, Vincenzo Spadafora, said the Serie A season could resume on ‘June 13 or 20’ following the coronavirus pandemic.
