Orlando Pirates have released the names of the players who have been transfer-listed by the side.
The club released the list of players on their club website on Thursday, with the following players confirmed as unwanted by the club: Sifiso Myeni (right winger), Roger Majafa (left winger), Letsie Koapeng (second striker), Lehlohonolo Majoro (striker), Felipe Ovono (goalkeeper), and Yassar Mugerwa (midfielder).
Pirates have made a host of signings already this transfer window and with the side likely to bring in even more players over the coming days, they have initiated a clearout of their current roster.
Bucs confirmed the side had contacted the players prior to changing their transfer status, as is consistent with proper Labour Relations Act procedures.
The players in question are set to meet with the club’s chairman Dr Irvin Khoza to discuss their future on Friday.
Meanwhile, the club has also announced it has already received an offer for Felipe Ovono from an unnamed Saudi Arabian club, with the player set to depart to undergo a medical.
